Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Using a handheld device, scanner, or headset to receive and confirm order instructions
- Locating and selecting the correct items from the shelves, racks, or bins
- Checking the quality and quantity of the items and reporting any damages or errors
- Placing the items in the appropriate containers, such as boxes, bags, or crates
- Labeling and sealing the containers and attaching the delivery notes
- Transporting the containers to the loading area using a pallet truck, forklift, or trolley
